Christian Gyldenøhr vant World Cup i Australia!

Paralandslaget er for tiden i Australia, og i dag tidlig (norsk tid) tok Christian Gyldenøhr seieren i World Cup i Adelaide på tempo.

-En helt imponerende prestasjon, sier trener og lagleder for parasykling i NCF, Jason Dyck.

Gyldenøhr (38) vant foran italienske Martino Pini (31) med over 26 sekunder. Siste mann på pallen ble canadiske Charles Moreau (41), som var et snaut sekund i mål bak italieneren.

Vi gratulerer Christian så mye med det endelige gjennombruddet i håndsykling på internasjonalt nivå!

Christian Gyldenørh started 2024 with a gold. He delivered a winning performance at the Time Trial at the UCI Paracycling World Cup in Adelaide, Australia. It was a strong field with most of the top competitors from Europe and North America making the long trip to Australia.

Kommentarer fra lagleder Jason Dyck:

I am incredibly proud of Christian, he has trained very hard for a long time to deliver such a dominant performance. It is difficult to prepare for a race in the other side of the world in January so we made a plan to deal with the heat and the time change. He was dedicated to his race prep and he was very detailed with the course recon. He executed the time trial exactly to plan. In November he bought a new handbike and we have worked hard to optimize it for aerodynamics.

Today everything went to plan. His power, pacing and equipment were on point. This result is a very positive indication of his potential this season and it shows that he is on track for Paris PL.

-Jason
